A Prequel/Sequel is moving into production on the long-awaited follow-up to Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes. The newest installment will feature a great cast: Brian Cox, James Franco, John Lithgow, Freida Pinto and Andy Serkis. The release date has been set as a summer blockbuster for June 24th, 2011. Apparently the team working on the film involves many of the same "computer visual scientists" that worked on the most recent phenomenon 3D visuals of "Avatar". Sounds promising!
