Netflix Inc. worked out a 5 year deal worth about $1 Billion today with Epix to now allow streaming of movies from the likes of Paramount, Lionsgate, and MGM!!!! This is a major breakthrough in the live streaming world of movies that Netflix has been struggling to get motivated for the past few years! . This deal has huge implications in the world of digital movies and the move away from dvd and blue-ray players as people demand less of actual physical disc media that can be scratched and more towards digital and online media with no moving parts! . This deal also ups the competition with pay per view carriers and rental stations such as Blockbuster and RedBox! It will be interesting to see what happens... for now though, hooray for Netflix and Epix!
