Sorry for the absence - but I've been passed around from relative to relative and back again over the Christmas hols - so haven't had much time to think up any interesting posts in my temporary nomadic existance. All inspired by (and I think copied from) the amazing Elvgren Pin Up Girls - http://www.elvgrenpinup.com/. Gillette Elvgren was an american painter of pin-up girls, advertising and illustration. What gives Elvgren's girls their charm is their 'girl next door' rather than 'femme fatale' personas, their innocent expressions when caught in compromising situations gives them a cheeky appeal.
