A great read from beginning to end... it's the story of the Great World War Z as though it had happened in the past, told from the many perspectives of individuals who had lived though it and can remember what terrible things they experienced. The book scares you and then makes you laugh. The topic of Zombies is not taken lightly in this post-war era. Some would like to forget that it ever happened. Others would love to reinvent the Zombie population to ignite another war!
The audience of this book is unclear. The Zombies and the events of the war are referred to with such a factual, reporting type prose. The writing style actually made the book slightly and strangely believable. Any science fiction guru is going to relish in the pages of this horrific tale!
The rumor is that a movie is in the works based on this book... we'll see!
