Chateau Montelena Top: Sold out, similar Here and Here Jeans: Buckle Boots: Aldo Spending a day in Napa was breathtaking! I never wanted to leave. We spent the day with one of our good friends who lives in the valley and he gave us an amazing tour of the area. First, we went to a private tasting at Viader, where we tasted some of their incredible wines and saw the cellar and winemaking process. I love that they are a small producer and that they do every single step of the process on their property. You can see all of the labeled rows of different types of grapes. They care about every detail and you can feel it when you are there. We also went to a tasting at Chateau Montelena, which of course, is a little dream come true if you've ever seen the movie Bottleshock. The vineyard is famous for the 1976 Judgement of Paris tasting which put Napa on the map as a quality wine producer. Our tasting was immaculate! They truly know how to take care of their guests! This chateau is as incredible as you can imagine, and maybe even a little more so. Of course, being in the presence of some of the highest rated restaurants, we got to go around and taste incredible food from some of our favorites. Every single place we went was so delicious. The food, the wine, the views, it was the perfect way to end our California road trip. xox
